Theatre Royal Sydney is located between the hustle and bustle of Martin Place and Pitt Street Mall. Surrounded by numerous dining options to suit all tastes, visitors to the venue will be spoilt for choice when it comes to enjoying a pre-theatre meal. Our Bars offer light snacks, such as confectionery, gelato, and an excellent array of beverages perfect to enjoy before the performance.

White + Wongs

White + Wong's 'east meets west' cuisine takes classic street foods from China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand - the noodles, soups, curries and delicious dumplings - and created an eclectic menu to pick and choose from to suit.
Flavoursome Massaman and red curry pastes made from scratch. Oysters, and sashimi with freshly ground wasabi root. If it's tasty, White + Wong's are steaming it, frying it and serving it up fresh and fast.
Enjoy a banquet style pre-theatre menu to share with a schooner of beer or glass of house wine for $55pp (minimum two people).

AALIA’s culinary team led by Executive Chef Paul Farag have spent years exploring dishes and techniques from lesser-known regions and coastlines of the Middle East and North Africa. They discovered forgotten ingredients from millennia ago and uncovered recipes from within the pages of 10th century Arabic cookbooks.

L'uva's pre-theatre pasta vino menu offers 2 courses + glass of wine for $65 or 3 courses + glass of wine for $80 with Bruschetta, Burrata & Grissini, or Arancini for an entrée, a choice of Spaghetti alla Puttanesca, Linguine N’duj, or Ragu Tagliatelle for a main, or lemon custard sponge or affogato for a dessert.

ABOUT KAZAN
Kazan is a modern Japanese restaurant that has been designed with a ‘Noh stage’ as the inspiration. The menu is a modern interpretation of classical Japanese cuisine with nuances from other places to enhance traditional recipes and well known classics. The kitchen is led by Shinya Nakano, who was Head Chef of Nobu Melbourne, and led the sushi section at Kisume. Shinya stood behind the chopping board (Itamae) with 5th generation sushi masters in the Kyoto institution ‘Izuu’ before he landed in Australia.

Fabbrica Pasta Shop's Royal Set menu is designed for diners looking for a pronto pasta feast before heading to a performance. The $55pp menu is available Tuesday to Friday evening and Saturday lunch and includes arancini, burrata, and mortadella to start, a choice of handmade pasta, salad and dessert to finish.
ABOUT FABBRICA: Fabbrica Pasta Shop is a boundary-pushing retail space in the CBD selling handmade pasta by the gram, house-baked sourdough, a range of sauces, cheeses, cured meats, minimal-intervention Italian wine and other considered items essential to the ritual of making pasta. Fabbrica's intimate courtyard is a drop-in spot for sandwiches filled with the best seasonal produce and baked pasta during the day and a destination for bowls of pasta, bottles of wine and amari at night.
