Getting To Us

Our Theatre truly is located Where The City Meets The Stage. Ideally placed between the hustle and bustle of Martin Place and Pitt Street Mall, Theatre Royal Sydney is your premier inner-city entertainment venue.

We are located at 108 King Street, Sydney beneath 25 Martin Place. Our foyer, box office and cloakroom is best accessed via the main doors on 108 King Street.

The Theatre is very well serviced by Public Transport.

Car

Theatre Royal Sydney's preferred parking partner is Wilson Parking. We offer attendees an exclusive rate in our pre-show emails, which is sent five days prior to your performance. The following Wilson Parking stations are within walking distance to Theatre Royal Sydney:

25 Martin Place
108 King Street, Sydney

Angel Place Car Park
123 Pitt Street, Sydney

Citigroup Centre Car Park
271 Pitt Street, Sydney

Australia Square Car Park
31 Bond Street, Sydney

Should you choose to prepay for your parking, please refer to the confirmation email you receive from Wilson Parking with instructions as Theatre Royal Sydney and 25 Martin Place do not validate parking tickets.

Train

The venue is a three minute walk from Martin Place and St James station, and a ten minute walk from Wynyard and Town Hall stations. The T4 line is the only one that stops at Martin Place and it runs between Bondi Junction and Central station.

Bus

Numerous buses stop outside Martin Place station, which is a short walk from the venue, including the 428 which runs between Canterbury station and the CBD, the 392 which runs between Little Bay and Circular Quay and the 170X which runs between Manly and Wynyard.

Taxis

Taxis are easily available within the Martin Place locality, with the nearest Secure Taxi Rank located on Pitt Street. This is located at the entry to The Fullerton Hotel and is secured and supervised full-time by attendants and security guards. There is also a Taxi Zone located across the road from the Venue, which operates 8PM to 12AM, 7 days a week.

From the Airport

We are located approximately a 30-minute drive from Sydney's International and Domestic Airports.

Sydney's Airport Link train service stops at Town Hall. St James and Museum stations, all within walking distance of the venue. The train journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
