Experience Frankenstein, an extraordinary tale of creation and humanity, retold in a large-scale theatrical event.

Victor Frankenstein, a grieving but brilliantly ambitious young scientist, pushes the boundaries of theory and morality to create a living being from the remains of the dead. But playing God has its consequences…

Shunned by society and plagued by an inherited sense of confusion and rage, Victor’s miracle of science becomes a monster that threatens to destroy everything his creator holds dear.

Following their critically-acclaimed performances during the Brisbane season of Frankenstein, Darcy Brown (The Play That Goes Wrong) will return as Doctor Victor Frankenstein and Jeremiah Wray (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as ‘The Creature’. And stepping back on to the mainstage for the first time since originating the role of Eliza in Hamilton is Chloé Zuel (Hamilton, SIX) joining the company as Elizabeth.

Completing the cast is AFI-award nominated Anna Lise Phillips (The Boys, Animal Kingdom), Tony Cogin (Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap) and Nick James (A Christmas Carol).

Combining cutting edge production elements with the power of virtuosic storytelling, Frankenstein is a night of thrilling theatre of monstrous proportions - bringing Mary Shelley’s classic screaming into the 21st century.

This play is on for a strictly limited season at Theatre Royal Sydney.
